  1. Complete the Parkland Financial Aid Concurrent Enrollment Agreement form.
  2. Obtain the required signature from your College.
  3. Submit the form to the Parkland College Office of Financial Aid, who will then forward it to OSFA for processing.

Your eligibility for Federal and State financial aid funds will be revised according to:

  • The combined credit hours at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Parkland College.
  • The combined tuition and fees, and in accordance with financial aid program restrictions.

You will receive an email from OSFA when a revised award letter is available to be reviewed in self-service.

Disbursement

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as the degree-granting institution, will disburse your total financial aid eligibility to you. All aid will credit to your University of Illinois student account, and pay your University charges first. A refund check for the excess, if any, will be credited to your bank account through Direct Deposit. It will be your responsibility to pay Parkland College for tuition and fees.

Concurrent enrollment awarding is done manually, based on the tuition and fees of both the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Parkland College. The financial aid adjustments based on additional hours at Parkland College cannot be processed until after the add/drop dates which affect the tuition charges at both institutions. Typically, students can expect to have their financial aid adjusted by early October for the fall semester, and by early/mid February for the spring semester.
