National Student Employment Week: April 13-17, 2026
Eligible Students:
Undergraduate hourly students currently employed on campus for a minimum of 6 months between June 1, 2025 to May 15, 2026.
Selection Criteria:
Students will be evaluated on the following qualities:
- Reliability
- Quality of Work
- Initiative
- Professionalism
- Uniqueness of Contribution
Number of Selections:
It is possible to have more than one nominee from the same employing unit. Please note: only one nomination letter will be considered for each nominee.
Submitting a Nomination:

Emailed nominations must come from the nominator’s University email address.
Announcement of Winners:
The winners will be announced during National Student Employment Week. More information regarding the announcement will be emailed to all nominees and nominators in March.

2026 Tutor of the Year Eligibility and Nomination Guidelines
Eligible Students:
University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign undergraduate hourly students currently employed in a tutoring job. Students must have worked for a minimum of 6 months between June 1, 2025 to May 16, 2026.
Selection Criteria:
Tutors will be evaluated on the following qualities:
- Reliability
- Quality of Work
- Initiative
- Professionalism
- Uniqueness of Contribution
Number of Selections:
It is possible to have more than one nominee from the same employing unit. Please note: only one nomination letter will be considered for each nominee.
